DIY Miniature Speckled Malted Easter Eggs Basket Polymer Clay - Watch Me Craft

DIY Miniature Speckled Malted Easter Eggs Basket Polymer Clay - Watch Me Craft

DIY Miniature Polymer Clay Speckled Malted Easter Eggs Basket

I was able to squeeze one last Easter craft in, lol. Today we're making polymer clay Easter baskets and speckled malted Easter egg candy. The kind that you see every year in every grocery store. For those of you that may not know, they are similar to Whoppers candy only they are speckled and in egg shapes. It's just malted candy with a chocolate coating. I don't like to eat these, but I thought it would be fun to make.
There is no voice over in this video, it's just a time lapse of me making everything, but I hope you enjoy it all the same.

If you like this tutorial please give it a thumbs up! Also, I would love for you to share this tutorial on your feed and with your friends. Unbelievable Shopkins Unboxing! We Had No Idea! - Mystery Blind Bag Unboxing

Unbelievable Shopkins Unboxing! We Had No Idea! - Mystery Blind Bag Unboxing

Never knew shopkins blind bags could be so much fun!

So we went to Family Dollar this week, and our mom bought us these Shopkins to unbox on my channel. This is our first time ever opening up anything Shopkins related so we were so surprised when we opened up the ones we did. We had some great basket picks! Find out what we got when opened them. We really had no idea of what we had, but it was so much fun to open them.

DIY Miniature Easter Baskets Tutorial

I've finally made the tutorial for my DIY Miniature Easter Baskets. I made one white painted hemp  Easter basket with a gold foiled chocolate bunny, pastel easter eggs, and gold foiled chocolate easter eggs. I was thinking I should have wrapped one of these in clear plastic for that real store bought basket effect, lol.

The regular plain hemp Easter basket has an unwrapped chocolate bunny, pastel easter eggs, and gold foiled chocolate easter eggs.

Miniature Easter Basket For Kelly Doll

A tutorial for miniature Easter baskets will be up on my YouTube Friday. I had so much fun making them. The tutorial is for a bigger basket, but I wanted to make one for a cute little Kelly doll I know in the Dollville Heights neighborhood for Easter too.

If you have any suggestions for Easter tutorials you'd like to see, I'll try and see if I can get them out before Easter day.

Eventful Day

Well today was a pretty eventful and successful crafting day. I went to Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Kroger today and picked up some new crafting supplies. Since Easter is on the rise I was specifically looking for craft materials to make some DIY miniature baskets for my Youtube channel. I have made two today already, and I bought so much of it that I can make baskets for days, lol. I don't know what to fill all of these baskets with, but I have a few ideas already. Candy and chocolate! Polymer Clay candy and chocolate of course. Tomorrow I will try and upload a few pictures of the baskets I've made thus far when I get home from work. Until then, peace out!

Miniature Polymer Clay Dog

Well, as you can see he didn't come out too well. He looks so stupid, but he's my first attempt at a dog so I can forgive myself for the way he turned out. lol. Hopefully, the more I do it the better at it I will become. Sometimes it's harder for me to stick with something that I fail at really badly, but after awhile I always come back to it and try again until I get it right. Perseverance is key, my friends.

Okashi Connection Japanese Subscription Box Unboxing & Review

A few days ago a package arrived in the mail for me, all the way from Chiba, Japan. I had been waiting for this box for a few weeks now, and you can bet I was excited when I saw it. The company was nice enough to send me this box for review free of charge. My sister and I unboxed this and tried all of the snacks except the DIY's and the Poop candy - that's for another video entirely. Whew!

There are 3 types of subscription box packages you can choose from, and I will list them and their prices below for you.

Ninja Box________

Amount: 5-7 Items
Price: $14 USD

Samurai Box_______

Amount: 9-13 Items
Price: $ 22 USD

Sumo Box_________

Amount: 14-18 Items
Price: $33 USD

Now they do offer one time subscription boxes which means you can purchase a box once just for that upcoming month, but it's usually about $3 more to do that. But enough chit chat, let's get into what I know you've all been waiting for - The Snacks!

These are all of the lovely treats that were sent in the Samurai box, which is the package we were sent to try out. I would have loved the Sumo box because the treats in that one looked delicious!

This is the first thing you will see when you open your Okashi Connection box. A cute pamphlet with cute little Anime characters showing off the delicious snacks you are soon to be munching.

The first snack you will see is a rather big bag of Popcorn. This is Mike Popcorn Kyushu Shoyu, which in interpretation means Southern Japanese Island Soy Sauce. Kyushu being the island, and Shoyu meaning Soy Sauce. The popcorn itself had a very light texture, not too heavily salted as Soy Sauce snacks tend to be. It also had the aroma of caramel popcorn even though the taste was mildly soy sauce flavored. We did like this one, but because of the kernels that usually get stuck in our teeth with eating popcorn, it wasn't our favorite.

Next up is something I'd been wanting to try for a bit, Kongari Pizza-Sen! These are usually referred to as Senbei's, which are a type of rice cracker and they usually have some type of seasoning on them.  These were so amazingly good. Light and crisp sort of like a chip cracker - a chracker! The Pizza flavor had just the right amount of seasonings, usually when you get a snack that is Pizza flavor you can always count on it to be very salty. These had the perfect amount of flavoring and came in a cute little tray for serving. By far the best rice crackers I've ever tasted.

Nericho Soft Mini DIY - We will be making a video for this soon, but it says it makes sugary strawberry foamy ice cream cones. Sounds delicious!

These are by Glico and are called Caplicocot. It's a A double sided-chocolate that melts in your hand and in your mouth! It was quite delicious solid milk chocolate on one half and a lighter aerated chocolate on the other side that tasted like a whipped chocolate cream. If it wasn't for the melting in your hand and the tough time taking it out of it's tray (probably due to the recent heat break) it would've been even more awesome.

This is another snack my sister, and I had been trying to get our hands on. We bought a pack from our local Asian market, Nam Dae Mun, but when we got them home we realized they were outdated as most of the snacks were that we'd purchased that day. A real bummer, eh? But these are so good! The peanuts aren't exceptional as they are just plain old salted dry roasted peanuts. But the seaweed rice cracker is another story! It's a crisp sweet smelling rice cracker dressed in a robe of roasted seaweed wrapped around it. The perfect healthy and light snack for anyone craving seaweed, crackers, or just a healthy snack.

Fue Ramune Whistle Candy - We've tasted these before. It was a slight Ramune flavored candy that was highly remeniscent of Sweet Tarts in America. It does crumbly melt in your mouth rather quick and has the same powdery texture as it's seemingly American equivalent. The whistling part of this treat is quite fun. It also came with a cute little sunflower hair bow.

Tanoshii Ramenya-San DIY - We will also be making a video for this DIY. I have always wanted to try this because we love Ramen and potstickers in my household, and I'm excited to see what this might taste like. It says we will be making candy that looks like ramen and pot stickers.
Super Mario Gummies - We are always excited to try Mario anything. I was even more excited to see that the flavors were Cola and cider! The texture of the gummies were quite firm making them kind of tough to chew like a bit of rubber, but the flavors were spot on. The cola was my favorite like I figured it would've been, as it tasted just like drinking a cup of Coca Cola or Dr Pepper which is one of my favorite sodas to drink. Despite the super firmness of the gummies, which I'm sure some people prefer, I really enjoyed these, and now I need a Dr. Pepper!

Unchoco "Poop" Candy - It's little balls of fruit candy that you eat out of the rear of this duck looking animal. We are saving this to make a gross and weird candy video stay please suggest what you'd like us to try in that video and stay tuned for the results!

Mini Baum Strawberry Roll - A delicious light and fluffy cake with Strawberry  flavored cream, and a thick creamy strawberry coating. These are very much remeniscent of Little Debbie's Strawberry Jelly Rolls, only they have a much lighter cake, and a more mild strawberry flavor than that of the gel in Little Debbie's. One of my favorite treats in the box.

Collon Rum Vanilla - The vanilla cream in this cookie was very yummy, but that's about the only good part of it. The cookie itself was okay, but the cream really made it. What really threw it off, though, was the rum flavoring. It was definitely spot on, but it tasted as if they poured a couple of bottles of rum into one small batch of vanilla cream filling, making these taste drenched in Rum. But if you enjoy a good Rum or Coffee then this will be the perfect accompanying snack for you.

So that was all of the snacks that we got in our Samurai Box from Okashi Connection, and it was well worth the wait! We were highly impressed with the snacks that came in this box, and we would definitely recommend this box to anyone. The price is great for the treats you are getting in this box.

If you would like to get your own box then hurry on over to www.okashiconnection.com and subscribe to your preferred subscription package today! You won't be disappointed.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

So it's almost officially St Patrick's Day, and I was inspired to make a simple cake based off of this holiday. I only added two clovers to the top of this cake, and just decorated the sides and top so it's nothing spectacular, but it's still rather festive. I made a mistake and baked it before cutting out a slice to texture, but it looks fine either way. I will be making another one before St Patty's with a slice out so it's all good. The video tutorial for this will be up later tonight or some time tomorrow. Let me know what you think!
